Life Time Fitness
Life Time Fitness is one of the top fitness centers in Tulsa, OK. It is located at 10642 S Memorial Dr, Bixby, OK 74133. It was founded in 1990 as FCA Ltd and later in 1992 became Lifetime Fitness. It is owned by Bahram Akradi.
Life Time Fitness is a large multi-level facility with locker rooms and common areas that are usually equipped with high-end materials, many using natural stone giving its members a high end experience. Life Time Fitness also provides its members with an in-club day-care option known as the Kids Academy. Children ranging from ages 3 months to 12 years are allowed to be in the Kids Academy for up to 2 hours at a time while their parent or guardian are in the club.
Lifetime fitness has many other facilities for its clients like the two studios for group fitness classes, a cycling studio, squash courts, basketball courts, a yoga and pilates studio and a whole floor with exercise equipment like treadmills, bikes, stair climbers, elliptical, and weight machines. Lifetime Fitness also has indoor and outdoor pools, a spa as well as a cafe.
At their fitness center, they offer amenities such as: cardio equipments, free weights, fitness studios, child center, locker room, family locker room, indoor and outdoor swimming, basketball courts, rock wall, racquetball courts, lifecafe, lifespa and pilates studio.
A client who is a mother gave her review on yelp after she visited the Life Time Fitness center. She reported that though shes’s only been there a few months, its great it has everything. She reported that the daycare is perfect for her as a mom because her kids can get the excerise they need while playing outside during sunny days. She concluded by saying that other gyms can’t compare to this.
However, Chris W from Albany didn’t seem to have a great time at the gym. He reported that the staff is completely uninformed about the programs offered, the managers give robotic responses to complaints that don’t provide relief for the member just increased frustration.
