Firebrand Sports was opened by Sara Stimac with the goal to open a way for a “one-stop-shop” approach to total well-being by offering total-body cardio barre and Pilates. Sara has Stimacs have helped many people in Portland to realize that all that is needed to achieve an effective workout is not spending more time on classes or workouts but more intensity. According to the clients of the Firebrand Sports, they prefer 50 minutes of the workout at the gym to 5 hours of their previous workouts in their previous gyms.

The gym makes use of Lagree Fitness method and they are the only and first fitness studio that is licensed to offer the program. The Lagree Fitness method is a small group class that features high-intensity, resistance-based training and zero-impact. The program also incorporates cardio, strength, flexibility and balance in each of their exercises. Firebrand Sports is a dance cardio class that incorporates conditioning exercises that are inspired by ballet and barre for support which are also used to compliment Pyrolates. The classes at Firebrand are kept small so as to provide individuals with the benefit of getting a private training experience. The atmosphere of the Firebrand Sports is also full of energy and fosters a fellowship of fitness.
