YMWCA fitness centre is another Newark gym, located at 600 Broad Street, Suite 1 Newark, New Jersey 07102. The gym was established in 1881. This gym has served the needs of its community through a collection of programs and services.

The YMWCA gym is a powerful association, established for the benefit of men, women and children, connected together by a communal obligation: Firstly, to nurture the potential of kids through a set of motivating, educating and practical programs, suitable for child development, self defense, and healthy living. Secondly, to promote healthy living, for individual, group, family, community, and the world at large.

YMWCA’s Programs and amenities include: Weight lifting, Racquetball courts, Squash, Spinning, Fitness, Aerobic, Towel service, Punching and speed bags, Fitness orientation & Assessments, Steam room, Massage service, Child watch center and lots more. YMCA also offers: Y-Away program: that allows members coming from other branch of YMWCAs (50 miles away from Newark YMCA) to use the facilities 5 times per month at no cost.
They also offer Silver Sneaker Fitness Program: Through health ways for older adults and other eligible adults. This program offers participants a silver sneaker card that enable them gain access to other amenities. They also offer Ambassador Program and Financial assistance program.
At YMWCA, you can never get enough of satisfaction because they strive to encourage healthy lifestyle and strong families, relying on hard work from staff, volunteers and sponsors, towards achieving the aim and objective of the establishment. YMWCA is a gymnasium for amateur sports teams and for those that do.
