Mission Cliffs Climbing & Fitness is an indoor climbing, yoga, fitness and bouldering in San Francisco. It is located in 2295 Harrison St, San Francisco, CA 94110. It was founded in the year 1994 as Touchstone Climbing. The brain behind this is no other than Mark and Debra Melvin.

Mission Cliffs is a merger of new and old. Mission Cliffs is known to be San Francisco’s oldest climbing gym, but they have constantly reconstructed and updated to remain a leader in the industry. Whether you are looking to climb their five story walls, take yoga in San Francisco or workout in our weight room, you’ll appreciate their cutting edge gym from top to bottom.

Fitness classes at the Mission Cliffs Climbing and Fitness are free to members. If you are not a member you may attend a class by purchasing a pass at the front desk. All classes are $15. The fitness classes offered at Mission Cliffs include:

Yoga They offer a variety of yoga classes for beginners and advanced. Their chain of experienced instructors teaches a wide range of yoga styles, from All-levels Power Hour to Rock ‘N Roll Yoga, to Yin + Restorative.

Indoor Cycling

They also have fun and challenging indoor cycling classes! Their bikes are ready to go in the fitness room which is located in the back of the gym.

Cardio Boxing

This is an incredible workout and a great way to get out a little pent up aggression. You will be though basic punch combinations, practice bag work, and be sure to save some strength for the ab work at the end! This class is guaranteed to make you sweat.

Strength Class

This is a newer class at Mission Cliffs, and it is already taking off. According to them, this awesome cardio strength training workout will leave you challenged, sore, and ready for more.

Jess C reports that Mission cliffs has seen some changes, but it is the best place to climb in the Bay Area.
